Dale A. Watson, P.E., Ph.D., BCEE, Receives George Warren Fuller Award

Ames, Iowa   FOX Engineering is pleased to announce that Dale Watson, P.E., Ph.D., BCEE, has received AWWA’s prestigious George Warren Fuller Award for outstanding leadership and significant contributions toward the advancement of the water works practice. The award was presented at the annual Iowa Section – American Water Works Association (AWWA) meeting in Dubuque, IA, on October 17, 2018.  The award is presented annually for “distinguished service to the water supply field in commemoration of the sound engineering skill … the diplomatic talent … and the constructive leadership which characterized the life of George Warren Fuller”, as described by the AWWA.

Watson is a past President/CEO of FOX Engineering Associates, Inc. His experience in environmental engineering began in 1972. He is a licensed professional engineer and has worked in consulting engineering for municipal and industrial clients throughout the Midwest and, earlier in his career, was an assistant professor at Iowa State University.

Watson’s Iowa State University engineering degrees include a B.S. in Civil, an M.S. in Sanitary, and a Ph.D. in Environmental. He holds the distinction of being a Board certified environmental engineer (BCEE) by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.
